Carbon Footprint Study

As part of our commitment to sustainability, State Water has been working with the Centre of Integrated Sustaibility Analysis at the University of Sydney to develop an approach for assessing and reporting on State Water's carbon footprint. A carbon footprint is the total amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases emitted over the full life cycle of a product or service.

The carbon footprint for 2007-08 is being determined using a model develop by the university to provide a baseline that can be used for internal planning and reporting to our customers and stakeholders
